Optimize your brain health and reduce the risk of cognitive decline

What would you do if you knew that you could greatly minimize your risk of developing Alzheimer’s Disease … or prevent it altogether?

I felt like I had an excellent grasp on what was being explained in this course and actually understood it instead of having someone throw medical jargon at me.

Your Holistic Alzheimer’s Prevention Program was so helpful. I really appreciate having the information on the slides while also having it spoken and elaborated on. Having 2 small children, distractions are inevitable but it made it super easy to still gather the information. This program was much better, especially compared to other courses I’ve seen. In Alzheimer’s groups on Facebook it seems the age of diagnosis is getting younger and younger.  I feel like there was a bunch of information here that most people don’t think about or relate with Alzheimer’s. So many people still see it as an “old person’s” disease but a diagnosis can really come out of left field at any time and effect anybody. I would absolutely recommend this program to anyone with concerns about their risks of developing Alzheimer’s. I went into this kind of expecting to hear how doctors in my personal life have communicated with me with their medical jargon I know nothing about, but this felt more like a concerned friend telling me how I can help myself and it felt more relatable and effective.

You certainly deserve a BZ for this course!

In the Navy we had a term for a job well done. It’s called “Bravo Zulu.” It’s abbreviated “BZ” so that the Admiral (or big important guy who’s in charge) could send a meaningful message using the brevity of flag hoists or blinking light from ship to ship. I’m not an important guy who’s in charge, but you certainly deserve a BZ for this course!

I’ve created this program a bit differently than traditional ‘self-help’ books. Why?

Because I want you to actually start AND FINISH this program to get all the brain benefits that you and your family deserve.

  • 8 Bi-weekly Modules:  You’ll get bi-weekly modules that will cover specific topics necessary to improve and enhance optimal brain function as well as reverse some damage that’s already occurred. The modules are released bi-weekly so that you have one week to read and absorb the information.
  • Implementation Weeks: The following week is what I call ‘implementation’ week. It’s where you start to put the information to work.
  • Live Q&A’s: Knowledge isn’t helpful if you don’t ACT on it. I wind down each implementation week with a LIVE Q & A session. If there are areas you are struggling with, or you just have questions, this is where we get to hang out and clear up any concerns you might be having. If you can’t join live, no worries. Just send your question(s) via email and I will answer them during the Q & A and you will be able to tune in to the recorded sessions to hear your answers.

I’m so excited to be able to walk with you on this journey and I can say, with certainty, that I know how important it is.

Module 1: Nutrition for Optimal Brain Health

As you start this new journey, you’ll want to understand WHY good nutrition is so important to reducing your risk of developing Alzheimer’s Disease. Vitamins and minerals found in healthy foods directly impacts the health of your brain. Prioritizing nutrition nurtures the brain, promoting improved memory, mental clarity, and long-term cognitive well-being. This module is the first step on the path of Alzheimer’s prevention.

Module 2: Exercise for Optimal Brain Health

Can exercise really reduce the risk of getting Alzheimer's Disease? The answer is a resounding YES! Exercise stimulates the release of endorphins and other important brain chemicals, which aids in neuroplasticity and supports the growth of new brain cells. Overall, a physically active lifestyle not only improves cognitive abilities and memory but also contributes to the maintenance of brain structures crucial for Alzheimer's prevention. Time to lace up your walking shoes.

Module 3: Sleep for Optimal Brain Health

Is sleep really important in preventing your risk of developing of Alzheimer’s Disease? I’m sure you know the answer to that. During sleep, the brain undergoes essential restorative processes, such as the clearance of toxic waste products, including a protein linked to Alzheimer's. Studies have shown that poor sleep patterns or chronic sleep deprivation can lead to an accumulation of these harmful substances in the brain, increasing the risk of developing this horrible disease. Time to make good quality sleep a priority.

Module 4: Stress and Optimal Brain Health

You might know about the role of stress on your heart. But, did you know that stress can destroy your brain, too? Controlling stress will play a crucial role in preventing Alzheimer's Disease because stress triggers an increased production of stress hormones like cortisol, which can damage the brain. Stress is believed to contribute to the development and progression of Alzheimer's disease. By managing stress you’ll be able to potentially reduce the negative impact of stress on your brain health. Let’s prioritize a few stress reduction strategies so that you can reduce your risk of developing Alzheimer’s Disease.

Module 5: Brain Training for Optimal Brain Health

Who said we can’t play when we become adults? Playing games can have a significant impact on brain health and may help prevent the onset of Alzheimer's Disease. Memory-based games help improve recall and retention skills, which are crucial for combating memory loss associated with Alzheimer's. Strategy games enhance overall cognitive function. By consistently incorporating games (that are discussed in this module) into your daily routine, you can create a proactive approach to maintaining your cognitive vitality thereby reducing your risk of developing Alzheimer's Disease.

Module 6: Targeted Supplements for Optimal Brain Health

If you are like most people, you likely wonder if there really are supplements that can help prevent Alzheimer’s Disease. The good news is that the answer is yes. In the pursuit of Alzheimer's prevention, there are a few key supplements that have shown promising potential. This module will highlight the important supplements that will support your brain health AND nearly all of them are easily found at your local health food store. After completing this module, you’ll likely have a good sense of the ones that you’ll want to add to your daily routine.

Module 7: Detoxification for Optimal Brain Health

When was the last time you took the trash out? I’m sure you do it regularly for your household waste. But, what about the waste in your brain and body? Have you ever thought about how to take that trash out? In this module, you will learn about what causes waste to build up, in the first place, and how to effectively remove your own trash. Without an effective detoxification system in place, your brain and body will decay and you will suffer with unintended health consequences. Let’s get a big trash bag and start clearing out the rubbish.

Module 8: Bonus Resources for Optimal Brain Health

Your Bonus Module explores even more options to boost brain health.  Did you know that women who have undergone hysterectomy and men who have been treated for prostate cancer are at a greater risk of developing Alzheimer’s Disease? You’ll learn why that is and what you can do, moving forward, to prevent any loss of brain health. And that’s not all. This module is loaded with lots of Alzheimer’s prevention information that I wanted to make sure to share with you. Enjoy!

Knowing that there are things I can do to save my brain gave me peace of mind.

As I get older, I find myself leaning on holistic approaches to my health more and more. It’s especially true with Alzheimer’s disease, since there aren’t really any good options with drugs. I really liked the section on nutrition. I liked learning about the foods that could improve brain health and what foods to avoid.
